Gate.io is a renowed exchange founded by Han Lin in 2013, and has licenses in Hong Kong, Australia, Japan and Dubai. Gate.io is very strong in spot trading and offers a large variety of altcoins.

CEX Listing

For VC-backed projects, the listing fee ranges from $100K~$200K USDT + $100K~$300K USDT worth tokens (based on last round's valuation). Gate usually uses the tokens to run different kinds of campaigns, including Launchpool, CandyDrop and Simple Earn.

For memecoin projects, can select listing through Innovation Zone, which costs much lower than regular listing fee.

Project OTC Sale / acquisition

For project already listed on Gate, it can work with trading communities (usually alpha groups) to OTC sell large amount of tokens (no vesting) at a 65%-75% discount. 

If the project team still controls more than 90% of tokens (including locked), it can also sell all its tokens together with project's social media, website and product to the private buyers. The acquisition price varies from $200K~$300K based on project's VC backers, % of tokens controlled and sector.
